We operate the App as a news aggregation + social discussion platform. To the extent we receive, store, transmit, or provide services in respect of User Content, we act as an “intermediary” under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”). Our obligations and safe-harbour protections are subject to compliance with applicable laws and due-diligence requirements.

  • You must have capacity to contract under Indian law and not be barred by any applicable law or order.

  • You are responsible for activity under your account; promptly notify us of unauthorized use.

  • We may require phone/email verification and may limit features until verification is complete.

  • We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

  • You shall not: (a) copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works; (b) scrape, harvest, or use automated means without permission; (c) circumvent security; (d) commercialize the Service without our written consent.

You agree not to post, upload, share, or do anything that


a) is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable;
b) incites violence, threatens national security, public order, or violates any law;
c) infringes intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights;
d) constitutes spam, scams, impersonation, or malicious code;
e) violates our Community Guidelines or these Terms.

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of your User Content.

  • License to us: You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and make derivative works of your User Content for operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Service.

  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and for obtaining all rights/permissions necessary to post it.

  • Public nature: Comments/reactions may be public. Do not post personal/sensitive data you don’t want visible.

  • No monitoring obligation: We are not obligated to pre-screen content but may act per law/these Terms.

  • We may remove, disable, or restrict content and/or suspend/terminate accounts that violate law or these Terms/Guidelines, including upon receiving actual knowledge or a lawful order from authorities. 

  • Notice channels: Use in-app reporting or email to report unlawful/violating content. Provide URLs/screenshots and reasons.

  • Timelines: We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days where required under intermediary rules. 

  • Repeat infringers: Accounts repeatedly violating IP or our rules may be permanently disabled.

  • We may remove, disable, or restrict content and/or suspend/terminate accounts that violate law or these Terms/Guidelines, including upon receiving actual knowledge or a lawful order from authorities.

  • We aggregate news and other materials from third parties. All rights in Third-Party Content belong to the respective owners.

  • We do not guarantee accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or reliability of Third-Party Content, and do not endorse any views expressed.

  • External links (publishers, advertisers, social) are outside our control; we are not responsible for their content, policies, or actions.

  • The App, software, design, UI, databases, compilations, trade names, and trademarks are our IP or our licensors’.

  • We comply with the IT Act & SPDI Rules (2011) for reasonable security practices and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) to the extent in force, including notice and consent, purpose limitation, and Data Principal rights (access, correction, erasure, and grievance).

  • We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures and maintain a documented information security program as required under Indian rules.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation arising from or related to use/inability to use the Service or reliance on content.

  • Our aggregate liability to you for all claims in any 6-month period shall not exceed INR 1,000 or the amount paid by you (if any) for the Service in that period, whichever is lower.

Some features may be labeled beta/experimental and may be unstable. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use feedback/suggestions you provide, without obligation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Section 20 (Dispute Resolution), the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

  • Step 1 – Grievance: Raise issues via our grievance channel; we aim to resolve promptly.

  • Step 2 – Arbitration (optional): If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seat [City, India], conducted in English, before a sole arbitrator appointed mutually or per rules of [institution].

  • Nothing prevents either party from seeking interim relief from competent courts.

We may, at our discretion and without liability, suspend or terminate your access for violations of law/Terms/Guidelines, repeated infringement, fraudulent or abusive behavior, or legal/regulatory reasons. You may delete your account anytime. Some obligations (e.g., licenses granted, indemnity, limitation of liability) survive termination.

  • These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

  • If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

  • You may not assign these Terms; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale.

We are not liable for delays/failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
