Company : Calcure Technologies Private Limited (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”)

Service/Brand : RYYT mobile application and any associated websites (collectively, the “App”, “Platform”, or “Service”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Definitions

“User”, “you”, “your”: Any person accessing or using the App.

“User Content”: Comments, posts, reactions, profile info, or any material you submit, upload, or display on/through the App.
“Third-Party Content”: News, articles, media, feeds, and links sourced from external publishers or providers.
“Community Guidelines”: Rules we publish for acceptable behaviour on the App (incorporated by reference).
“Privacy Policy”: Our policy describing how we collect, use, share, and secure personal data (incorporated by reference).

2. Legal Nature; Intermediary Status

We operate the App as a news aggregation + social discussion platform. To the extent we receive, store, transmit, or provide services in respect of User Content, we act as an “intermediary” under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”). Our obligations and safe-harbour protections are subject to compliance with applicable laws and due-diligence requirements.

3. Eligibility

You must be 13+ to use the App; users under 18 must have parent/guardian consent.
You must have capacity to contract under Indian law and not be barred by any applicable law or order.

4. Account Registration & Security

Register with accurate information and keep credentials confidential.
You are responsible for activity under your account; promptly notify us of unauthorized use.
We may require phone/email verification and may limit features until verification is complete.

5. License & Restrictions

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.
You shall not: (a) copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works; (b) scrape, harvest, or use automated means without permission; (c) circumvent security; (d) commercialize the Service without our written consent.

6. Acceptable Use; Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to post, upload, share, or do anything that

a) is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable;
b) incites violence, threatens national security, public order, or violates any law;
c) infringes intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights;
d) constitutes spam, scams, impersonation, or malicious code;
e) violates our Community Guidelines or these Terms.

7. User Content: Ownership; License; Responsibility

Ownership: You retain ownership of your User Content.
License to us: You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and make derivative works of your User Content for operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Service.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and for obtaining all rights/permissions necessary to post it.
Public nature: Comments/reactions may be public. Do not post personal/sensitive data you don’t want visible.
No monitoring obligation: We are not obligated to pre-screen content but may act per law/these Terms.

8. Content Moderation; Notice-and-Action; Repeat Violations

We may remove, disable, or restrict content and/or suspend/terminate accounts that violate law or these Terms/Guidelines, including upon receiving actual knowledge or a lawful order from authorities.
Notice channels: Use in-app reporting or email to report unlawful/violating content. Provide URLs/screenshots and reasons.
Timelines: We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days where required under intermediary rules.
Repeat infringers: Accounts repeatedly violating IP or our rules may be permanently disabled.

10. Intellectual Property; Platform Materials

The App, software, design, UI, databases, compilations, trade names, and trademarks are our IP or our licensors’.
Except as permitted under Section 5, you may not use, copy, or exploit our IP without prior written consent.

11. Reporting IP Infringement

If you believe material on the App infringes your IP, send a takedown notice to [shuvam@ryyt.in] with: (i) your contact details; (ii) description/URL of the work; (iii) basis of ownership; (iv) declaration of good faith; and (v) proof of authorization.
We may share your notice with the uploader and act per applicable law and these Terms.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use/share/retain it. By using the App, you consent to such processing.
We comply with the IT Act & SPDI Rules (2011) for reasonable security practices and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) to the extent in force, including notice and consent, purpose limitation, and Data Principal rights (access, correction, erasure, and grievance).
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures and maintain a documented information security program as required under Indian rules.

13. Disclaimers (News; Opinions; No Advice)

The App provides informational content and user opinions. We do not provide professional advice of any kind.
The Service is provided “as is” / “as available” without warranties (express or implied), including accuracy, fitness for a purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation arising from or related to use/inability to use the Service or reliance on content.
Our aggregate liability to you for all claims in any 6-month period shall not exceed INR 1,000 or the amount paid by you (if any) for the Service in that period, whichever is lower.

You shall indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the App; (b) your User Content; (c) your breach of these Terms or law; or (d) your infringement of third-party rights.

16. Service Changes; Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee continuous availability.

17. Beta Features; Feedback

Some features may be labeled beta/experimental and may be unstable. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use feedback/suggestions you provide, without obligation.

18. Communications & Notices

You consent to receive service, legal, and transactional communications electronically (in-app, email, SMS). Notices to us must be sent to: [support@ryyt.in] and [legal address].

19. Governing Law; Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Section 20 (Dispute Resolution), the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Step 1 – Grievance: Raise issues via our grievance channel; we aim to resolve promptly.

Step 2 – Arbitration (optional): If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seat [City, India], conducted in English, before a sole arbitrator appointed mutually or per rules of [institution].
Nothing prevents either party from seeking interim relief from competent courts.

22. Termination & Account Suspension

We may, at our discretion and without liability, suspend or terminate your access for violations of law/Terms/Guidelines, repeated infringement, fraudulent or abusive behavior, or legal/regulatory reasons. You may delete your account anytime. Some obligations (e.g., licenses granted, indemnity, limitation of liability) survive termination.

23. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in laws, features, or practices. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes (e.g., in-app notice or email). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

25. Export & Sanctions

You represent you are not restricted by applicable export controls/sanctions from using the App. Do not use the App in violation of such laws.

26. Entire Agreement; Severability; No Waiver; Assignment; Force Majeure

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
